MEET THE BREEDS - Wednesday, April 10th 2024
If you wish to participate in this educational event to discuss your breed with the public and event attendees, contact: Mary Alston, PMAA Show Committee Chair at mealston4@gmail.com by April 3rd, 2024
(Participants not permitted to promote their breeding programs, businesses, or sell dogs/puppies. Anyone doing so will be asked to leave this special event)
This will be held in a ring: chairs provided. If you have a table breed and want your dog to be up on a grooming table, please bring your own.
All breeds including FSS & MISCELLANEOUS welcomed!
Also available at the cluster is CGC Testing, Beginner Puppy 4-6 Months
The Texas Kennel Club Meet the Breed Event

January 11, 2024
- PMAA will be participating in The Texas Kennel Club Meet the breed event on February 10th, 2024 at the Dallas Market Hall! If you are in the DFW and surrounding areas this is a great opportunity to come out and meet some Pyrenean Mastiffs!
Time slot for the Pyrenean Mastiff is TBD at this time but will be between 9 am and 1 pm.

Board Notice
December 12, 2023
- The PMAA Board of Directors finds Diane Johnson-Taylor in violation of the PMAA Code of Ethics. Items violated include Treatment item 1, Breeding item 1.
Repercussion of said violations
• Fine in the amount of $1,000 US Dollars for cause of violation leading to the death of 9 puppies.
• The case will be presented to the General Membership at the Spring General Meeting with the Board of Directors recommendation for Expulsion from the Pyrenean Mastiff Association of America.

- Annual Meeting is October 22nd, 2023 at 11am PDT, 12pm MDT, 1pm CDT, 2pm EDT! We will email out a reminder with the newsletter.

Board Notice
August 8, 2023
- The PMAA Board of Directors finds Blake Schwartz in violation of the PMAA Code of Ethics. Items violated include Treatment item 1 and item 4.
Repercussion of said violations
• Probation/suspension from all club activities for 6 months beginning August 8th, 2023 through March 8th, 2024.
• Board denial to move to Full Membership on reapplication on October 7th, 2024. Cannot renew Associate Membership January 1st, 2024 as 1-Year Associate status will have expired.
• Fine in the amount of $1,000 US Dollars for cause of violation leading to the death of a dog. Self-admitted intent to violate Code of Ethics breeding requirements regarding health testing.
• Conditions: The Board of Directors may consider allowing reapplication of Associate Membership with no guarantee of approval due to member petition requirements being met,
o On-site inspection and approval of barn/kennel/building with air conditioning in summer is provided for all Pyrenean Mastiffs owned, or in possession of, or care by Blake Schwartz or associated partners at time of inspection by a PMAA Member or other appointed person to perform inspection.
o Complete and submit to PMAA Board required health testing on all Pyrenean Mastiffs owned, or in possession of, or cared for by Blake Schwartz or associated partners.

- The PMAA Board of Directors finds Hany Eldiwany in violation of the PMAA Code of Ethics. Items violated include Treatment item 1, Breeding item 1, Sales items 9.2 &9.4.
Repercussions of said violations
• Provide topics for education you would have found beneficial prior to your violations.
• Write an article on what you found difficult as a new breeder, what you wish you had known, and what you would do differently.
• Probation 3 months with allowance to participate in educational activities, or until article is completed at which time probation requirements will be met.
