We are located in the foothills of North Carolina's beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
With over 40 years as an Equine Reproductive Specialist for Rare Breeds, we at Zephyr Farms are
not new to breed conservation. The Pyrenean Mastiff is an ancient and rare breed. We are honored to join the efforts of breeders who have gone before us in the preservation, protection, and promotion of this majestic breed. Our dogs have been imported from Spain, Poland, Italy, and the Czech Republic. We do this to bring into the United States a variety of pedigrees, genetic diversity, and to strengthen breed characteristics. We use the Breed Standard as our measuring stick. Our dogs live with us both inside our home and outside on our farm, joining in our activities, going on camping trips, to festivals, and traveling throughout the country. They have shown in AKC shows, worked as livestock guardians, estate guardians, some perform as service dogs, and all are family companions.
